Hello,

Today I received an update in my express entry that I am now in eligible , my Overall Score 475, and I have Review of Minimum Entry Criteria Met and Canadian Experience Class Met, why am I getting this letter? it makes no sense.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you

Check validity dates of your ECA (if applicable) and IELTS which I believe are 5 years and 2 years respectively.

How would that help? meaning I made a mistake? but then if that is true, I wouldnt have met the criteria in the first place

Did you register with Job Bank?

Check if your English scores have expired. They expire every 2 years for IELTS. When did you sit the exam?

No i didnt, I already have a job,so i didnt register

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp

"To finish your Express Entry profile you must register with the Government of Canada’s Job Bank if you do not already have:

a valid job offer, or
a nomination from a province or territory.
Job Bank is an easy, online job search tool which will connect you with employers and jobs in Canada based on your skills and experience.

If you do not register with Job Bank within 30 days your Express Entry profile will expire."

If you had a "valid job offer" (LMIA+offer of permanent employment) you would have the bonus 600 points. Everyone else has to register with Job Bank...
