I ordered GCMS notes and I had criminality PASSED ( may 2017 gcms notes)and now showing criminality-in progress. Maybe criminality expired and they do a new one.
My medical has been updated showing PASSED

it may be a good idea to shoot CIC an email confirming your passport info has been updated in the system.
I vaguely remember criminality check is valid for 2 years (not so sure) but definitely more than a year. maybe your criminality expired or something. but I'm sure you will pass criminality again.

As far as I understand, criminality and security are two separate parts of background check. Background check can be in progress due to criminality in progress. Criminality check shouldn't take long though so don't worry.
I need to understand based on your response! I called CIC last week and agent said Meds and Criminality passed and BGC in progress and agent can't say if eligibility and Security is passed or not. Does BGC in progress mean Eligibility is passed or in progress?
BGC and Eligibility are not related... So it could be anything...

Nothing has been changed!!!
They running my criminality again because the old one been done 8 april 2017 so I assume criminality is valid for one year
No this is first time till my medical and BGC has been changed on 28 february 2017 for we are processing your background check and medical Passed
I got ghost updated on 02/03 and today morning(21/04), but also nothing has been changed. Many friends got PPR soon after ghost updated. I don't know why. May be that means they are running security checking?
That’s what I think!!! They running security while they get any info back thay update right away. If it is something what requires your action you would be notified by mail.
You see now I ordered a new GCMS and I see that they running my CCRIMINALITY once again( running by GCMS-SYSTEM)
I did checked my old GCMS which I obtain may 2017 and I can tell that my first CRIMINALITY has been performed( by CENTRALIZED INTAKE OFFICE) in june 2016 and validate june last year.
