Hello Friends,

Strangly my EE profile is shown as ineligible even when I am getting 67 points as per FSWP guildlines.

- Points from IELTS: 22 (L-8.5, R-7.0, S-7.5, W-6.0)
- Points from Education: 22 (Bachelor's degree - B.Tech)
- Points from Age: 12 (Age - 29 years)
- Points from Work Experience: 11 (Effective experience - 3 Years 11 Months)

Anybody got any clue if theres anything wrong in my calculation or if the rules have changed lately?

Also, I have total 6 Years of experience in following fashion:

Jun 2007 to Sept 2007 - Noc 2173 - Org1
Sep 2007 to Jul 2011 - Noc 2173 - Org2
2 Years break for MBA
May 2013 to Dec 2014 - Noc 0213 - Org3
Jan 2015 till date - Noc 2013 - Org4

So, ideally I should get work experience points for 6 years but I am getting only 11 points as the maximum continuous experience is 3 Years 11 Months in Org2. Is this right? Should I get points only for 3 Years 11 Months?

Please help.

What's going on with the score for your age? Why is it only 12?
I hope your NOC category is 0, A or B? Otherwise it will be ineligible.

Yes NOC is 2173.. so its eligible..
Also for age of 29 years, under FSWP I should get 12 points only.. I hope you are not confusing it with EE Score.. its different from FSWP points..

Anybody?? :(
For Bachelor degree, you will get 21, not 22 points.. I guess thus you are one point short..

Can anything be done now or my dream shatters ???
You may try to retake IELTS and improve your score..

Are you married ? Ask your spouse to write IELTS. They only need CLB 4 level and u will get 5 points. Any siblings in Canada ?

Your NOC seems to have changed from 2173 to 0213 and then 2013(?). So depending on which NOC you are applying under, the number of years of work experience relevant to that NOC is probably counted. Not sure, but it seems logical.
