Hi my husband is a canadian citizen and as per the law we studied and informed by the lawyers,our kids become canadian citizen by birth regardless of the place they are born.my sponsorship is in progress and we had a baby last year.we applied for his citizenship and were expecting his certificate to be delivered any day.but u fortunately we recieved a letter today mentioning that the parent applying on behalf of the kid must present himself personally on the nearest visa office where the baby is currently resideing(that is Pakistan) but my husband just went back and he couldn come so early. What should we do now. We call cic but they have no clue what should be done and asking us to con5act islamabad embassay. Plz help me
