Processing WP and PR simultaneously a problem?

My work permit is in process and I am also planning to apply for PR once I reach Canada.
Writing IELTS and getting done Education assessment while my work permit(or before) is in progress will increase the risk of denial of my WP?
The reason I am asking this is - Visa Officer who is processing your WP doesn't want the employee to stay in Canada after work permit tenure. But, by writing IELTS and processing education assessment(If visa officer tracks how your passport is been used) candidate's intention of trying to become PR is very clear.

Can this cause the rejection?
Please answer, this is exactly my situation. Thank you.

No it won't be a problem.

Firstly the visa officer has no way of knowing if you took an IELTS or did an educational assessment until you submit those to CIC.

Plus they have no problems with "dual intent" (WP and PR). Their only concern is "would you stay illegally in Canada if you don't have a status i.e. denied PR or something".

You can google and read about dual intent in official CIC docs. That explains it clearly.
