BVL is the same as biometric collection letter?

March 6th received the letter to do biometrics.
Biometrics completed march 10th.
No update after this.
Mother in law is in Russia.

No, I made it as she is the main applicant, but put my canadian phone number and my email. It doesn't matter I think, but I am starting to get worried. Should I reapply again on this new IRCC portal? Is there any specific time after which we need to reapply?

Ok...you should wait coz i applied end march with boimetric nothing after. Lets hope for the best

Applied for parents visitor visa in IRCC OLD Portal(GCKEY)
Applied : March 3, 2022 (from Hyderabad -INDIA)
Biometrics Request : March 4, 2022
Biometrics Completed : March 10, 2022

No update after that...

I also applied for TRV for my minor child in Russia on 31 March 2022. Since she is under 14 no need for biometric.
No updates since 1st April after submission confirmation.
Processing time from Russia shows 10 days now though.

When we applied for my mother in law, processing time was showing 40 days. What matters is the processing time at the time of application and biometrics are not included in processing time. Right now, the processing times are 10 days, but when we applied on March 4th, it was 40 days. Then on march 10th it was 39 days, then it started to go down. Since was started between Russia and Ukraine, everybody from Russia started to apply.
