Processing Times from Calgary office is too slow for canadian citizenship

Hello Yesterday

I see from Canadapost tracking that they received my application on September 8'2013. When can I expect that they would send me an official confirmation for receipt of application? Also I am wondering is there any way you can choose Toronto processing center it seems they are really fast like 6 months (I could be wrong about time frame though). Or are we limited by the office assigned to that geography?

Here are my timelines:

Application received by CIC: September 11,2014
AOR sent: December 3, 2014
Application transfered to Calgary: December 18, 2014

Why would you need a further official confirmation of receipt as your ECAS was already updated and stating the receipt? Did you get the study guide already? I remember that the study guide came with a letter confirming receipt of the application.

I posted this long before I received AOR and ECAS status update. I received my AOR through email, no hard copy hence no study guide.
