Processing times for children

Hello,

I am trying to find information about processing times for sponsoring dependant children.

I have seen differing responses and trying to find more precise times.

If I were to sponsor a small child (2 years old), how long would this take approximately?

Is it faster to sponsor through Quebec? I see on their site it says they are currently processing within 25 days? (I also see you first have to submit to IRCC, how long does IRCC take in those cases where they only do the initial part?).

The 25 days is the sponsor portion only, not the entire application. CIC site says eleven months for dependant child processing. Applications can move faster than this though. Might be worthwhile to see if there are any threads specific to this.

Thanks I saw that at CIC but that is for an application completely processed at IRCC.

I'm confised you say that's for the sponsor, since in the process for Quebec actually the sponsor part is dine at IRCC? Or is it 2 sponsor parts in that case?
