Processing times for AINP nomination?

I just sent in the application for Alberta Express Entry Stream (EE) today. My open work permit in Canada expires in less than 3 months - is there any chance I'd be able to get the nomination letter before that period? What has everyone's experience with Alberta's Express Entry Stream been?

I applied for my AINP EE on 3rd Feb and it’s been 6 weeks still no response. Current processing times right now is between 2 to 3 months average
 
Oh okay. I hope we can get it soon. I would be really said if I had to leave the country because it doesn't arrive on time.

I'm based outside Canada. I submitted AINP application on Nov 8. Status changed to "Information requested" when they sought verification from employer on Dec 20. I followed up with them and employer and was able to get the nomination by Jan 7. Anyway, will a nomination certificate help your work permit? I am not sure.

Yes you can apply for a bridging work permit on that basis
