I want to share my experience for urgent renewal.
Posted application on 5 th March, received at Sidney on 7 th March. Approved on 13 th Maech.

Really? What was your circumstances for the urgent app? Im asking because Im so nervous as me and my spouse are due to travel to Costa Rica for his best friend's wedding in 3 weeks and just realized my spouse's PR card is expiring in a few days. We have submitted the renewal on urgent basis but we were told by many that our circumstance is not life and death situation and no way we'd get the new PR card back before we leave. Sydney received the courier package on March 15 and we are leaving on April 9

YOU ARENOT REQUIRED TO GIVEANY REASONFOR URGENT TRVEL, NOR JUSTIFY THE URGENCY.ALL YOUHAVE TO DO IS ATTACH PROOFOF TRAVEL AND COPY OF PAID TICKETS. RESIDENCY OBLIGTION IS THE MOSS IMPORTANT CRITERIAN.
