Processing Time !

Hi all,

I have applied for study permit on the 21st of last April and it was an online application.

Then, I have been asked to provide my biometrics and I did on 25 of April. After four days, the CIC informed me that my Biometrics have been submitted and an update has been occurred in the website.

It is written in the official website that applying from Qatar "as processing time" takes about 6 weeks and now it has been decreased to 5 weeks.

My question is, when does the processing time start from? is it the date of submission, doing the biometrics, updating the CIC or it has not been started yet ??

From the time the application is complete. In your case, the clock starts when they notify you that they have received your biometrics.

Hi i have applied for canada study permit at visa office chd on 1st june.
Bt my file status is still under process.kindly tell me how many days i still have to wait for visa approval mail
