hi...i have submitted application for permanent residence in Canada on 23rd may 2012 still waiting for my visa, my passport was requested on 13 august 2012 from new delhi... ...how long it will take to get my PR

New Delhi asking for the passport right away in general.
No one could now for sure how long will take untill your visa will be issued.

However, New Delhi its a very fast office comparing with other VO s.

When your status on ecas changes ''in process" than you are almost at the end of your journey.

I too submitted my app on 28th May and waiting. I hope we should hear something in october
