I don't believe this is accurate. Processing for sponsors for parents is completely different and it is taking those applications MONTHS not DAYS. Besides, they stopped receiving apps for parents until further notice. But I could be wrong, just my opinion.PMM said:Hi
It is the parents and the grandparents that are slowing Mississauga down.
The same group of visa officers is responsible for both spousal and parent/grandparent application processing. This is why one is having an impact on the other.Jamgirl said:I don't believe this is accurate. they do get priority.. they have stopped taking new applications for P&G ..parents category has cases waiting from 2007Fencesitter said:Which do you guys feel is more important? Spousal applications or parents and grandparents?
I think spousal applications should get priority and should be dealt with first, before even touching applications for parents and grandparents.
It's the parents and grandparents that are slowing everything down.
Where would the rumble come from? They must know that spousal applicants are not pleased with the slow down, as I'm sure the call center has received hundreds of calls in regards to the timeline for stage 1.
I hope it speeds up! And I have a feeling it will once the January applicants have been processed.
