Processing time-- Ottawa (CPP-O)-- application of re-entry visa

Is there anyone got any news about the TRV recently? They received mine on March 13th and I still haven't heard anything from them yet!! Is it normal? I send them a email but seems no one will reply.....I really need to go home ASAP....Any ideas? Please share the recent timeline. Thank you!

did you get your passport yet? they received mine same date as yours but havnt got any update yet, website says they are now working MArch 20 applications

Hey Guys

I am in the same boat. My application was received by the Ottawa office on March 13 2013 and I have not heard anything from them as yet. I did make one mistake though. I did not know that I could include a prepaid canada post xpress envelope. Now I am just hopng that the application is delayed and not lost in the mail as I have no way of tracking it

I have emailed them twice now and still waiting for a response. I also tried calling the CIC call centre at 1-888-242-2100 and used their menu to get a status update on my application and all the auto responder says is that my application was received on March 13 2013. So I am guessing may be my application has not finished processing?

If anyone wants to try and see if they get a different response then try calling the number above and navigate to > Check application status submitted within Canada and then choose Visitor.

Yeah it just says the submission date. Even I didnt know about keeping a express post envelope inside. March 8th. Will keep you guys posted if any updates.

pkssandu: I did the same thing you do for almost a week now still havnt got any information as to what happen to my application. I have a tracking number but still can't track it. An agent I talked to last week says sometimes CIC website can be misleading she told me from what she learned the processing time for now is 2-3months! !! but the guy I talked to today that the website is accurate but he cant do anything as to how to find out what happen to the applicatuon other than send me CPP Ottawa's contact info which is actually dound in their website! I already email them coyple days vack but only got an automated reply that the informatuon I needed is on their website! I think we just have to wait and wait for now guys

If anybody got their passport anytime from today kindly post here so we know what to expect. thanks

people submitted to NYC are having the same problem! their applications have passed whats on the website and still havnt got their passport. some of them are getting the result this week so hopefully ours guys will be out this week as well

If we are all in the same situation then we don't have to worry ... the processing time on their website is not accurate I think/hope !
