Hello,

I want to ask those who are under Live-in caregiver program aboout "processing time of OP" Recently. (Jan 2013~ so far)

Can you who recently have got open permit or have seen sme get OP share how long it takes to get Open permit?

Around me, Most nanny said 2 months but CIC call centre said 4 months.

This end of April will be 2 months since I sent my PR application. I do want to be released from this house, work, situation.

I do want to know your recent experience. Pls share with us.

P.S. I'm single korean who works in vancouver, BC.

Hi, lilyby! I am going to apply in a few months and I was just researching this same thing but I can't seem to find any info about this. I haven't asked the CIC yet, though. How long did it take for you to get your OWP? How is your process going??

3 months of waiting for owp but when i renewed it thru online it took me 2 weeks of waiting.
