Hello,

I apply for Study permit by online application system at March 31, 2017 and received Confirmation of Online Transmission at April 1, 2017. The time since I applied has passed the processing time than is shown in the IRCC website, i.e., three weeks for applicants apply within China. There is no way to check what is going on. Is there something wrong with the application system? Does anyone have the same problem as I do? Looking for your feedback. Thank you very much.

Best regards,
Vincent.

The posted processing times are just estimates. It's quite common for processing to take longer - sometimes significantly longer. Unfortunately there's not much you can do but wait. You can certainly send in a case specific inquiry - but you may not get much back in the way of information.

Hello Vincent,

I also applied from China too, though I applied on April 17. I did biometric on 19/04/2017. Got medical mail on 24/04/2017. Passed medical on 02/05/2017. Since then no information yet.

What programme did you apply for?

Did you apply for visa via paper or online?

Did you do medical upfront or got medical mail?

Have you contacted the embassy to know what is going on with your application?

I see. Thank you so much. I have already submitted an inquiry to IRCC, and hope there will be an answer. Still, great appreciation to you.
