Processing time is 5 weeks, but I've waited 7 weeks so far, what should I do?

I'm a Sri Lankan national who applied through VFS Jeddah for a Study Permit. I just graduted from highschool so I chose to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary. I submitted my paper based application through VFS on July 3, 2017, and as of today I've heard absolutely nothing. Classes start on September 3 so the deadline is quickly approaching. What should I do? I sent in a case enquiry yesterday, but I their automatic reply was that they may take up to 10 days to reply with an answer to my query.

As for my profile, I had a 3.73 GPA in highschool, healthy financial docs, showed social and financial ties to home country, as well as a decleration of financial support from my parents and my fathers employment letter. I am on a dependent visa.

What Type of application/enquiry did you select? Did you write it short and to the point, or what did you write?
 
what is wrong in Saudi Arabian embassy? they are taken so long to process when they know there will be Eid holidays approaching soon adn everyone has classes from early september.
Seriously disappointing and sad :(
