Processing time frames for Canada federal skilled worker program

Thanks for the link. I have checked the like before.
I am also afraid as Jakram, Actually from which stage they count start for Processing, but I have the impression that, its from "Received by Visa Office" stage not from Initial application to N.S.
Do not know which one is correct.............

I got this from another thread. I think you are correct.

60 to 90 days for Initial Assesment at CIC-Canada.
next 120 days after initial approval from CIC for supporting documents submission.
then At Visa office 6 to 8 months (sometimes Depends on your luck too)

I don't know where they got the information from.

Before than that all steps are pre-requisites but not counted in Processing times. This is my understanding, one might have better idea on it.

It's CTOT (Canadian Trade Office in Taipei) in Taiwan but this response is a "SOP" letter as many also received the same letter either from this office or CIC ...
The thing is been dragging so long that is going beyond 36 months of waiting time already since I applied ...

B. Remember, in the old system there was no step* for the CIO-NS.

*CIO is just an intermediary office to check the qualitative aspect of our applications. Our apps do get 'locked-in' though here. Meaning: it's dealt with the rule in effect at the date the apps reach CIO. Change in rules won't affect it, unless retroactively done.

Considering the discussion above, could you please comment on the current status of my case i.e. at what processing stage my application stands? when should I expect medicals? etc. Here are my details and the timeline:-

Case Transferred to Islamabad 30 June 2009
Full Docs Recvd by CHC ISD 31 July 2009
eCas changed to "Received by Visa Office"
2nd AOR from CHC ISD 23 September 2009
CHC Islamabad File No. B539*****

My ecas status to date i.e. June 19, 2010 still stands at "Received by Visa Office". No change to date and no progress. What are your comments? Where do my case stands as to date? Any idea what is happening to my application? When should I expect next? Please advise and oblige.

Probably your case now has been reTransferred to CHC-London, as ISB is no more dealing with FSW. But I'm not sure of the older cases logged earlier with them.

ISB was anyway pretty slow. Had a huge backlog, plus some stringent B/ground & Security check issues. It takes more time there.

In most CHCs, post 2nd AOR, u r supposed to get the Meds by 4-6 months, unless there r Red Flags in the case. But ISB used to take nearly a yr for the same.

Send an email to them, requesting a Case Progress Update. U might get a positive reply & u'd know.

Here is the latest update on my case. Seniors are requested to comment keeping in mind that I had already received 2nd AOR from Islamabad Visa office.

We received your application for permanent residence on May 19, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 26, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the London England office on June 30, 2009. The London England office may contact you.

We transferred your application to the London England office on June 30, 2010. The London England office may contact you.
