I searched several threads and was not able to find a relevant thread.

I have submitted my passports at VFS in India. It has been well over 10 days and I am getting worried about the processing delay. I expected 7 working days. Any one in a similar situation?
Is there anything that we can do to expedite the process in any way?

This is the last step and its giving me the jitters and putting me in a limbo wrt to making flight and accommodation bookings.

It will take from 2 days to 2 weeks. I have seen both the cases. No expedition possible. Is your travel booking done?

Wow... that was quick! Was it by mail or did you fax your change request? I sent my request on Monday but no reply as yet and I have seen where it took like 2 weeks for them to reply.
