Did they call you for Interview? Normally cases take longer time if they called for interview. You can contact local MP if one year passed.

No they didn’t call me for an interview also we contacted are mp they also didn’t find the reason yet. I didn’t get any updates since 7 months. What am I suppose to do now please help me

Hi jameela. Please contact Canadian immigration IRCC, they will give you information about the current status of your application. Also you may ask them how to request for all the notes on your file so you can easily understand what they are waiting for ( Right to information act allows you to get all the notes on your file) but it will take a month for you to get all the notes. Please regularly check GCKEY and ECAS.

My medical got expired on 26th of Nov 2019. But I still didn't get my request for second medical? What is the reason for getting this much of time process ?I applied on June 2018

research "writ of mandamus" perhaps you can get so they render a decision. It shouldn't take this long. my husband passed his medical in August and still nothing. In two months we will hit one year. too much stress.

By Colombo Office , did you mean VFS or Canadian embassy in Srilanka?

Canadian embassy won’t reply to your inquiries unless you have already reached the processing time limit (12 months since you applied). if you send email to VFS, you will get reply in less than 3 business days but they won’t answer any specific questions, their job is to securely transfer documents/passport between you and Canadian embassy, nothing else.

it’s different for each application but In general it takes upto 3 months since medical passed. We haven’t received any updates yet. Our medical passed and updated on December 21.

My husband did medical 04 Oct 2019 since then we still waitting no respond. E-cas it says Medical received thats all !
it `s going to be 4 months - we r still waitting - going to be 1 Year that i have apply for sponsor this 31stJan 2020 !

Hi manoja, my husband also did his medical on the 03 Oct 2019 since no updates . It’s going to be one year on the 11 th April 2020 . This whole process is so stressful
