Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Check your online they will update your medical status , wait for some time they will send pre arrival letter and then ppr via your e. mail

Hey! I did the medical exam yesterday. Can someone tell me whether the gckey gets updated once they recieved the medical test results? If so how long does it take? Or else they update it after we pass the medical?

Gc key update soon medical result send new delhi office and then they will send to confirmation of medical clearance . so you have to wait 7 tto 10 days hardly ( not more days)

No. We have not received anything else since then. I have already provided all documents, so next communication would be “Pre Arrival”, which usually takes about a month from the date medical passed (in best case scenario). My cousin applied for spousal sponsorship just 30 days before I applied and they already got visa. Based on their and my timeline you should be getting pre arrival

well. The percentage is not an indicator of how close you are to get the visa. It’s basically how many days elapsed since you applied out of 366 days. Let’s say your application was received by Immigration on July 11. it’s 170 days today since July 11. So the percentage would be 170/366=~46%.

But my cousin got visa when the percentage was at 52.

Biometrics : September 05 and submitted September 10
Medical request: December 13.
Medical completed : December 17.
Medical passed ( updated to ECAS and GCKey ) December 21.

We expect to get PPR /VISA around January 13-15 (based on the timelines of few of our friends).

Our ecas is updated to 'Medical results received' but the application for permanent residence is still labeled as 'In process'. Could someone pls confirm if their application status has changed to 'Decision made' after medical results were received? And if so, how long after it changed to that when medical results were received? Thank you very much.

“In Process” Would remain until you get visa

Our file was Forwarded to Colombo Visa office on September 26,2019 and they Started processing it on September 30,2019.

No. We haven’t received any updates yet but we expect some updates during the week of January 13.

Does anyone from Sri Lanka has received PPR within 3 months as now trend, many out land applications are receiving their PPR in short time.
