How does one know that the background check has started? Do they send you an email? My ecas says “we are processing your background check” for so long does this means background check is going on for quite some time now?

Yes my wife emailed. But no response. But once MP asked they are responding like 'processing we will contact as soon as possible'

You will get all the information on GCkey online before vfs contact you...
Passport no, visa expiry date and landed document no...

omG that’s a long wait! I didn’t know they call is for interviews in Outland also. The wait is painful. I submitted my medical in sept too I hope I get a good news soon
