I just start waiting, so I cant be active here but yours chnaged to "IN PROCESS" on 28th Oct, and I think Jancy's changed to "In PROCESS" on 31st OCT and my friend's status changed on Nov 13.

ARE THEY REALLY changing the status when they start looking at your file ???

I have no idea.................CIC is playing around. Not sure what is happening.

Ya PB it was last 2 weeks ago. I have send all my documents, but no answer yet.

So are you saying since it's changed to"IN PROCESS" , it took them around a month to start asking for something.

Each month they change the status. What your status now? For how long?

Not for me, I applied on Nov 4th. my friend got her status changed on November 13 to " IN PROCESS" and she is worrying that there is no contact since the change. is it normal? how long they should wait since it changed to " In process" to hear from embassy

They change it every month, wait another week or 2. Or else wait another month. Depends on the officer.

My status has been changed to Decision Made.

"A decision has been made on "wife's name" application. The office will contact "wife's name" concerning this decision."


I'm curious to see what decision they have made.

Hi,
I was so interested in your post as we are also trying to take our Sri Lankan nanny to Canada. We are Sri Lankans who are Canadian permanent residents. Our nanny also like yours practically raised our two girls so we cannot do without her. We are also thinking of taking her as a live in caregiver but having the same problem as she doesn't have education up to grade 12. On what grounds was your nanny denied. Thanks,
