This Tuesday I finally received my medical instructions. Got it done on Thursday and back to waiting again I guess lol. It's been a crazy week and sorry for not updating sooner.

your medical result will be update within 3-5 days after received cic
you can check this on your ecas if ecas showed "your medical result received"
That mean you pass your medical exam

Hey guys, Can someone help me understand the background check.
From Day one Back ground check stated "We are Processing your background check" now it changed to "your application in process and we will send you message when we start your background check"

Why it change like that

in my calculations is right you will get your PPR within 14 days

Hi Guys, Small clarification. My Spouse PR application is pending at IRCC office Colombo. I have already given my biometrics. Currently Im applying for a TRV to Canada to attend a wedding. Do I need to give bipmetrics and photos again? or I can use the same reference I have given for my PR Application? Please advice

Our 1 year is going to be up on July 19th so my MP told me to come back again on July 22nd. There is a letter they can send to the officer if 1 year is exceeded. She said she will call again for an update on Monday. She was quite hopeful we will hear something this week based on what the call center told her but unfortunately has been silence. I was told the immigration officer was reviewing the medical note of pregnancy we had submitted and reviewing the updated travel information we had voluntarily sent. Hoping for some news soon. Sick and tired physically and mentally of this process.

You only need to give your biometrics once every 10 years. You don’t need to give your biometrics again until the 10-year period expires.

If you gave biometrics in the past as part of an application for a visitor visa, work or study permit and they’re still valid, you don’t need to give them again.

Find out if your biometrics are still valid and when they expire by using the
Check Status Tool.

Thank you for your information, I tried this tool but I couldnt find my biometrics. Also this tool says only use it if you have given biomerics previously for visitor visa, Student visa or work permit only.
So Im bit confused since I have given it for my spouse PR visa, this tool is not working for me.

If you are submitting a permanent residence application, and you are biometrics required, you will need to give biometrics each time you apply.

Hopefully you will receive a positive update soon .just hang in there. That's all we can do for now sadly. I'm also beginning to get worried .the Colombo visa is being frustratingly slow

Hi @Radipol i think your one year mark is hit yesterday . so now you can inquire about your application through using colombo high commission email .
