His interview is next week.

That's the places you lived.
But there was a section to provide any place you have visited outside of your own country. I don't have the forms with me to check this and tell you exactly where.

You are correct, I just went through the forms, you have to list the countries you visited under "Personal History".

be strong.talk them without any fear.

how is the question "what do u think about the war" relevant to our application? What purpose does it serve? I am guessing if you become too emotional with ur answer they will accuse u of being part of the war and reject? This damn process is confusing

Hey, when someone goes to Canada and claim refugee status they have to fill out a form at the port of entry called Personal Information Form (PIF) which is basically details about them and the reason they provided to CIC about why they are claiming refugee status. Your husband should know what this is....

Hi all,

I live in Australia (Student) and what will happen if they send me PPR. Do I need to go to Sri Lanka to submit my passport to VFS or can I send my passport from Australia?

Hey well u shd email the colombo vo directly and find out what form they r talking abt.. my hubby didnt get anything not even request for remedical so just waiting and praying

PIF basically will have every single details about your husband's life prior to landing in Canada. They use those details to verify things like whether he was already married when he came to Canada or not, if he had any kids, if he mentioned anything about u,etc. Basically they verify the details on his PIF matches with the details on the sponsorship application.

I got PPR Email on Nov 09 ( no interview)
submit to VFS colombo on Nov 10
Today i collect it back with visa and copr , also my originals of submitted documents received too..
Im very happy .hope every body gets good news soon ......

Review of eligibility Passed
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview
A background check is needed Complete
Final decision This application has been approved

medical updated on gc key August 18 as i remember .

background check newer change to in progress ,until i got the PPR and have the visa .i checked every day .
