Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

I understand ur frustrations very well. I am one month behind you guys. Still I haven't received any response from the Colombo office.

I'm sponsoring my husband from SL as well. I know friends who got their applications processed in like 8 months last year. Hope it's still smooth and fast with the new govt's changes.

My application was received in Mississauga on Dec. 9th. Just heard that the sponsor stage was approved. Where about are you in the process?

Hi My application too was received in Mississauga july10 but my one of the friend April 05 he is Canadian too all document perfect but he still waiting that's why worry about and also I contact our MP election promise

Hmm, that's strange. Hope there's no backlog. The processing times on the website for SL before was around 9 months.So I would suggest your friend contact the visa office through an inquiry and see where they are with the application.

Please note that they have changed the processing time to 17 months at end of last year. Did anyone got ppr during 2016 ? Or late ( Nov, Dec, ) of 2015 ?

Yeah I received it on October 14th 2015. File was forwarded in Nov 2015 to colombo. but no response. How about you?
