processing time with aeo and without aeo is same. there is no difference on processing time with aeo. aeo gives you 10 extra points that's it.

Exactly wrong, processing time with AEO is much faster than without.

Doesn't seem so.... Even with AEO our application is still lagging as any other with the same time-line. I think AEO only gives you an extra 15 points (not 10) & a security of a Job & income from day-1 of your landing.

Although this whole concept of AEO seems to be very silly. Very few employers will wait for 18-20 months (5-6 months to get an approval first from HRSDC/Service Canada & then another 12-14 months atleast for the Visa to come & then not to forget another 2-3 months atleast before the employee actually lands in Canada) for a employee to land in Canada & then offer him/her a job, unless you have some very very very extraordinary skills that the employer cannot find for so long !!!!

CIC needs to address this issue of lengthy processing times for AEO's as employer's invariably loose interest after so much time. The essence of the AEO is lost.

In my opinion it is nothing more then 15 points & maybe some security of job upon landing.

AEO does not make any difference in processing time.Me too applied with AEO and am waiting from last 2 years and person applied without job has been already landed and working with good company. So it seems that Q is same and we have to wait for our turn "NO SHORTCUTS".

guys,
I have a few questions you need to address,
1. Scoring additional points with a AEO may that be 10 or 15,,, Should'nt it have some leaverage on the processing time or some sort of preference along the lucky 29 NOC list. If that may not be the case that I suppose why go thru the hassle of AEO and instead opt for the PNP program. I am confused.
2. I have heard that there are cases who have'nt received their file number since 5 months, Is there any lucky individual out there who share the same story.
3. There has to be some difference in the processing time for the Lucky NOC 29, the individuals with AEO, and the others not so lucky individual from the other NOC list. Or otherwise this all is a bunch of crap.

waiting for your feedback.

Well I must say again that aeo has nothing to do with processing time. But people go through the hassle of aeo because of points. There are some people who lacks points in age/education/English proficiency/relative... thats why they want aeo so that there point will be adjusted. moreover with an aeo he/she will get a job on the very first day of landing canada. I hope this part is clear to u. Now comes to PNP ya everyone doesn't take PNP because if you take PNP you can only land in that particular province. moreover, if you take PNP from Quebec you have to know French fluently. So these are some backdrop that prevent people from choosing PNP rather than AEO. By the way what is lucky NOC 29 and what other NOC? I don't understand. So far I know there is 29 NOC only and nothing else now. Applicants with AEO are lucky no doubt but those who doesn't have AEO r not so lucky its not right.
