Processing time for Pakistan students 2011

applied for admission in concordia university on 02-feb-2011
got admission on 28-feb-2011
applied for visa 21-march-2011
received medical 12-may-2011
( with medical i received a letter in which embassy asked me for defer letter and original CAQ as i submitted foto copy of CAQ)

medical report sent by the doctor 17-may-2011
call from TCS visatronix to collect documents 08-June-2011
Received Visa on 09-June-2011
total processing time = 80 days

if 80 days is the time... big reason to worry... bcoz in that case i gonna miss the fall session and also there is no jan intake in my course... and i have already paid CAD 2500 non refundable fee......

Defer letter is the letter that university issues if you want to enroll yourself to a next session.

if 80 days is the time... big reason to worry... bcoz in that case i gonna miss the fall session and also there is no jan intake in my course... and i have already paid CAD 2500 non refundable fee......

yes.CHC Islamabad is taking long time to process applications because they are updating their computer systems.this information is also available on CHC website.

First of all Congratulations on your approval for the study permit. I also got admission in Concordia and will be going there for the fall semester Insha Allah. I have applied for the visa as well. Hoping that i will get it soon enough. Ok i have a question. I applied for the CAQ and got an online approval on 25th May 2011. So i downloaded the pdf and sent that to the embassy. I am still waiting for the original CAQ. they say that they have mailed it. How long does it usually take for the CAQ to reach the home? i received the approval on 25th May.
p.s did you submit fees in Concordia. I transferred complete one year fees.

Its takes 2 or 3 weeks in between 2 or 3 weeks.

it take almost 17 to 20 days to get the CAQ by post....

to which department/decipline/program have u applied in concordia university?????
