Hi everyone,I was looking for information about Niagara falls processing time for citizenship and only found a couple of answers but my case is that my file was received march 2011 ,started processing November 2011 and I have not received anything since then,every time I call cic to try and find out how come I haven't received anything later or when my test is going to be they don't explain it to me ,is this considered routin application?

The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us."

Thank you,my brother got it last year within 14 months total from the day he applied until he went for the oath and I only applied six months after and its not even showing it was received in Niagara ,don't know why ,they just tell me you application seems to be ,fine I've seen some horrific stories about how it took three and four years,I got engaged lately and my finance lives in uk I want to become a candian first so I can travel freely and be proud of it!cheering for Canada,oh Canada!
Leon,please advise I noticed you're providing a lot of answers,is it because I have an Iraqi nationality?and I was told by an immigration lawyer that this may take years and years ,I have to meet with a judge ,it's been 16 months exactly when they sent me that they received my application

I applied in NIAGARA FALLS on Feb. 13, 2014 ..Start processing my application April 9, 2014 ....did my test on June 18, 2014 ...got 20/20 ..
I was waiting since June 2014 and there was nothing ..I ordered my first ATIP report on Aug. 2014 ..surprised to see that they sent me a letter on July 09, 2014 asking for copy of my passport even though I submitted one with my application ..even the officer copied the same at the interview ..
The letter which they pretend that had been sent never reach my mail ...I called CIC explaining the situation ..they sent a request to resend the letter again ..for the second time the letter never reached .
I decided not to wait and send the passport copy from my side ..it reach the local office by Oct. 08, 2014 ..I asked for ATIP report twice after that but till now nothing happen ...no update ..no news ...no oath
