Received my PPR request yesterday.
Timeline:
GSS qualified + spouse open work permit
Application submitted online - 11th June 2021
Biometrics - 6th July 2021
PPR request - 19th July 2021 (form was generated on 18th but lawyers updated me on 19th)

You cannot proceed with medical exam now, you need to wait for IRCC to ask for it.
I am also is the same boat.
I applied for ICT WP on Mar5th 2021 without medical exam.
Biometrics on 15th Mar 2021.
After that no updates till date.

I may not be in same boat as you.Mine is a company with limited strength in canada around 10-11 people. They are all remote.
But i applied online , i am currently from India. It is ICT , GSS. But i did not provide upfront medical exam.
I applied in Early March , i provided finger prints on Mar 15th. after that no updates.

I Provided medical later not upfront , we did our medical in India Mumbai and Bio in Dubai .both are submitted . located in Mumbai .
I think then you can expect anytime.
I am still waiting for my medical exam instruction from IRCC.
Can you please share how long it took for IRCC to ask for medical exam from the day you submitted the application?
both medical and bio were asked for by IRCC
Bio first and Medical was asked within 3o days , but we summitted all in feb end and now no response , may be as i am first ICT emp for my company who just opened a branch in canada . lets see

My company applied for ICT closed WP on 14th April 2021 from New Delhi India, gave biometrics on 22nd April 2021. Passed the medical exam on 6th May 2021..but still no reply. Does anyone have a clue when should I expect the result?
