Processing time for chandigarh CIC

I am raj from hyderabad , I applyed my work permit visa on 5 december 2013 , I given a mail on 9 jan 2014 to delhi embassy about my status , I got mail from them that saying its under process , On 16 jan 2014 i got mail from canada embassy that saying go for medicals ,,
 
I applied work permit visa on Dec 16th 2013 via VFS chennai, status still showing under process. Any idea how long it will take ?
 
As per your details almost 30 working days has gone. In next couple of days your status will change or you will get the medical letter. Mine they took 23 working days, in your case they already taken enough time so they have to have answer your file. Best do luck for your result definitely you will get it next couple of days and positive result.

Neeraj, some of my friends say it may be a refusal that why its taking long time. Is that true ?

Actuallythere are so many myths about Canada processing time. I would like to suggest do not beleive in these kind of myths. Any country Embassy has their own rules & Regulations and Terms & conditions. So dont worry if they are taking time for your visa, it can be positive as well. Se below how the Visa process work :

1. Visa Application at VFS Office - ( they will foreward your application to Consult Office)
2. Documents Checklist & Form - ( They will check your all documents and your form either is filled up properly or anything they need more)
3. Docments Verification - ( Passport, Education Documents, Financial Documents, etc, ...Normally they check your finacial documents and LMO this takes time)
4. Other Verification - (if neccesary)
5. Result- (either Visa Granted or Medical or Refused)
This cycle depend on the Holidays, so do not worry they will taketheir time and will give result. Always think positive and if you fuflfil their visa requirment they will grant you visa.
