Processing time for canadian work permit from India through global talent stream

We have submitted our biometrics on 16th October but haven't heard anything since. Isn't work permit through GTS supposed to take only two weeks? How long is it currently taking for Indians to get work permit through GTS?

This work visa is through the global talent stream meant for specific profession only. LMIA took about two months which is the labour market impact assessment.
After LMIA,the work visa application from start to end took two months.
We applied from India and had to give biometrics plus medical test.

Cool.. I've got my GTS based LMIA approved and applied for the work permit last week.

Did it take 2 months for getting the passport request after applying for WP?

Also, did you submit the police clearance as well?

Biometrics request came around 9th Oct or earlier.
Didn't hear anything for about a month after giving biometrics.
A month after giving biometrics (15th Nov) of got medical test request.
Around a week after medical test (22nd to 24th Nov) got an email to submit passport.
Got passport with visa stamped on Nov 29th.

No police clearance certificate was asked from us.

Thanks again for swift replies.. One last question.. Would having an express entry profile create issues with work permit approval? Did you have EE profile?
