Unfortunately, there's nothing else you can do to expedite decisions. I guess the delay is because they work in government departments (but again, it would depend on a number of factors)

Finally, received my father's passport along with visa. However, my mother's visa application is still being reviewed even after a woeful amount of 75 days. What else needs to be done now as I have even sent case specific inquiry too but I have not received any reply after the standard 15 working days. Please help @Bryanna

Try telling that to the visa office75 days is not normal
It is pretty normal for decisions to be given at different times even if applicants are from the same family
My father got within 3 weeks. For my mother they have sent an acknowledgment letter on Aug 8, file was submitted on July 14. Father was the prime applicant. There has been no update so far. My fathers visa is approved and my mothers is still processing
