Submitted my application on Aug 24 '22 and it states on IRCC that it will take 77 days to process the application and now it shows 169 days. It's been 77 days already and the only message that I see till is the one on submission dated 24 Aug. Biometrics was done previously.

Any idea on this time lapse guys??

I have the same issue. Submitted application on Aug 17, 2022 and biometrics was received a week later. We are still stuck in "background check" stage since then. And the processing time keeps increasing day by day.

At least you have a processing time. The application on behalf of my mother-in-law submitted on Oct 13 still doesn't show one (with biometrics completed Oct 26).

For Which country are you talking about?

We do not have a processing time showing on our profile. When I say processing time, I am referring to the general processing time on the government website.

That's what I meant. It's the processing time you see on IRCC depending on the country you apply from.

The immigration is gives you such a hard time. They make different videos and upload on YouTube just so people invest their time and money but reality is different. Their way off assessment sucks.

Earlier this year I submitted visitor visa applications for both my parents living in Honduras while I was a student. By that time (around March), processing times for visitor visas in Honduras were around 60 days, but they got approval after three weeks.

Now I want to submit visitor visas for my parents-in-law (I'm on a PGWP). Processing time last week said around 160 days. We started gathering documents and I checked again today to notice it now says 429 days!!! That's almost 3 times longer than last week. I noticed the same for a few other countries. How can they go from 160 to 429 days in just a week? Any idea how is this happening?

They just make the changes to get you confused with going ahead with the same application or submit a new one by paying them again. On IRCC it says the number of days start from the day you submit but their is no explanation to these changes.

Posted processing times are just rough estimates. Some will take a shorter period of time and some will take much longer. Do not base any plans on these estimates.

Hi,

Now processing time changed and increased the days from the previous time.
Last week was 155 days showing from Kuwait but yesterday it's showing now 166 days.:(:(:(:(:(:(

What about other country processing time?
