Hi all,

Before I begin, i'm not sure everyoen would have gone through what I have been for the last 5 years. I need some help and guidance, and most of all i haven't given up my hope.

I applied for my Canadian PR through a canadian attorney while I was in US in 2004. The file was submitted to the Buffalo CIC during March 2005. In 2007 August I received a interview call from Buffalo CIC, in which I got rejected for no reason. My attorney immeidately reapplied my case and the case was transferred to a different immigration officer. In the meanwhile, I had to return to India, since my US visa was getting over, and got married after returning to India. I was constantly touching base with my canadian attorney's office all this while, and submitted all the police clearance cetrificates for both me and my wife, re did medical for both of us, and finally we have received a letter for submission of our passports. Since I'm in India I sent our passports , only the new ones with my wife's brother who was travelling to India, and asked him to mail it from US to the Buffalo CIC. I was mailed on Jan 5th 2010 and received on Jan 6th 2010 Buffalo CIC. When I check last my status in ecas, it shows "in process", after 6 weeks.

I need to know if I did anything wrong at the last stage? especially by sending the passports through my B-in-Law. Since my attorney office confirmed that I can send it directly myself, I took that move.
Moreover has anyone experiencing similar delays from Buffalo CIC? Please advice.

Hopes are High.
