I submitted tourist visa application on 3rd July at VFS hyderabad.
I booked tickets on 19th from bangalore.
What are the chances that my application will be processed before 15th.
I am working in Govt of India Enterprise, submitted NOC , Leave sanctioned letter, LOI from my friend and other docs as asked by my agent.

Can my friend collect my processed passport at bangalore

The current processing time at the Bangalore visa office is 14 days.... however, processing time varies from case to case.

3rd July was a Friday + your application was submitted at Hyderabad .... its not possible for any of us to predict whether or not your application will be processed by 15th July.... realistically speaking, the chances are slim.

Yes, your friend can collect your passport on your behalf if he has an authorization letter, etc

All the best :)

My parents submitted their TRV application @ VFS Bangalore On July 9. What are the current timelines @ Bengaluru Canadian Consulate? I know CIC website says 14 days but it varies from case to case. So just wanted to get a real feel from the forum members.

Hi Himanshu,

It's impossible for any of us to say what your chances are for getting a TRV.

It all depends on the reasons to return to India which you have shown (such as your employment/ family/ finances/ property ownership, etc) + the purpose of your visit, etc

Are the property and FDs jointly owned by you and your mother? And hope none of the money in your savings account was deposited just before you applied for the visa

Hope you get your TRV soon

Hi Himanshu,

One should always explain the source of large deposits in a bank account ie whether it was borrowed/some assets liquidated/transferred from another bank account, etc. And, finances should be one's own.

If you paid your taxes/filed your IT returns, on June 25, for the last two years + submitted copies of these tax returns with your visa application then that's fine.

Hope for the best

Cheers :)

Hi Himanshu,

It's usually difficult to prove that cash payments were rightfully earned by someone.... unless there are other supporting documents (from the person/company that paid the cash + taxes were paid on the cash payments received by the visa applicant).

At this point, you cannot send any new documents to the visa office.... if the VO needs any additional information/documents then they will contact you

Don't worry
