Processing time at New York City consulate

Hi,

I have an email today from CHC-NYC about US address. They can't mail my passport and my husband's passport back since we live in Turks Islands so I provided an address of my bestfriend from NJ. I hope I get it this week. I'll let you know.

Actually no email sent to them, I'm just planning to follow-up next week if I don't receive any news this week til next week however I received an email from them yesterday around 2pm.

Hope I'll get it soon. I'll let you know

Same here...nothing as of now...hopefully this week or next week....on a general observation,people in who submitted applications in the month of July....the application is taking about 38-40 days..thats what i have observed...

Yeah...i sent it thru USPS priority.I placed an envelop within my application too,for them to sent back the documents.

I got my TRV stamped and got all my docs back thru mail today....
Took me 35 days including weekends.My docs had reached there on the 16th Of July.
