Processing Status- 43 Days - WO applications received on September 12, 2012

Hey friends....I just went through the CIC website and they have updated the processing time as "43 days - Working on applications received on September 12, 2012"....

Mine was received by CIC on 15th August, 2012, but till date no approval...AOR came on 21st September, 2012....If anybody has any idea whats going on???
 
"AOR camed on 21 September..." you say here...is this an official letter?

What do you think is that?


Sorry I am a bit confuse here you said you were not yet approved but you got an AOR...
 
AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt of my documents received by the Embassy. The approval is second step....

AoR is not for embassy receiving your applications it's for case processing center in Mississauga
I was send both AoR and approval one day after the other via EMAIL not mail
Maybe check ur email for the second one ... it might have gone to ur spam folder
 
I would say that your file has been finalised for stage 1 and either mistakenly you have deleted the stage 1 approval or it was posted out to you via mail and it was lost in transit. Usually in stage 1 once you receive AOR, approval is less than a week behind.

Call CIC and speak to an agent, I am pretty sure they will confirm your file has been sent on to your visa office.

in AOR u get ur file number did u check ur e case
 
Yes I do got my file number....the online Ecas shows that the documents were received on 15th August, 2012...nothing else... :(

mine also shows same but i recived email that my case is approved
 
Definitely check your spam folders. I received my AOR and First Stage while out of town for the week (they came last week) and the AOR email came 1 minute before the Spousal Approval email.

I was relying on my iPhone to keep track of my mail for the past week, which I receive my shaw mail account on, and my Gmail account on, the shaw account forwarded both letters along just fine, but some reason or another, the Gmail account let the First Stage Approval email through, but blocked the AOR email, go figure.
