Hello all,
On March 22nd we submitted an outland application to be processed in the Beirut office. Three days ago my husband received the sponsorship approval. Here's what the letter says:
******
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.
Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s), you may contact the visa office by e-mail, fax, or in writing as follows:
CPP Ottawa
Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
NHQ - Centralized Processing Region
...[I truncated the address]
This visa office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
*****
Does this mean that my case is being processed in Ottawa? Shouldn't it be processed in Beirut?
Or is that just the address where we mail things so they get forwarded to Beirut?
Many thanks,
Wilderness
