I just came back from the show of DADDY YANKEE in Montreal!! It was amazing! At least one good thing in my week! lol ;D

WE GOT PPR!!!! so happy....husband is now leaving to go back to Argentina (was here on a TRV helping us settle in Toronto) to give the embassy the passports to get the PPR.

Congratulations!!! That means we're having a BBQ soon .

Do you know how much time you have from the moment you get the visa until you actually need to enter Canada? (I mean max time)

I will share you a detailed timeline when my hubby gets back but the visa expires when your medical expires......in our case we did our medicals in November 2010 so we have until November 2011 to enter Canada.

Talk to you soon and do not stress guys you will all get to this point sooner or later.

Visa Office: Buenos Aires
Application sent: Oct 15, 2010
Medicals: Nov.02 2010 (i did them after I had sent the application because i thought we had to do them later this had no affect on sponsorship approval- The embassy was able to see on line we had done our medicals)
Received letter from CIC of Sponsorship approval and transfer of file: Nov. 23, 2010
Received e-mail of in process status and requested further documentation June 24, 2011
Handed in all requested documents on Aug10, 2011
Aug 26 2011 Via email notified us that we had PR and that we had 15 days to hand in the passports
Sept 06 we handed in the passports in the morning
Sept 06 notified via email that the passports were ready
