Processing in Buenos Aires?

Good! But.. do you have a date for the wedding? Cause if you do the police certificate too long before to send the papers it wont be valid anymore. Someone can correct me but if i remember good the police certificate is good for 6 months after it was issued (that means it has to get to Mississauga before those 6 months..)

Update: I was thinking about it and it might be 3 months.. i'd have to check it out later..

Actually he picked up his passport at the embassy on tuesday! he said it was really simple and they only ask for his DNI! Since he is alone in Argentina (without his family) he has to sell everything before to come.. the hardest part being the car.. lol! So as soon as he sells it he will come.. hopefully before new year! I have my fingers crossed! :

OK! Well, we are getting married first week of January and sending the whole application mid-January, so you think it will be fine?
I just came back from taking the x-Rays .. not very complicated hein!

i think the police certificates are only valid for 3 months...we had our chilean ones expire while we waited for the ones from honduras to come through..ugh, as hard as it is to wait..Im glad that crazy running around trying ou match up timelines is over!

they are valid for 1 yr but they cannot have been issued over 3 mths from date of application receipt

just an update guys, Buenos Aires VO received my application around November 26, I got passport request a couple days later and my visa was issues on December 13. So they were incredibly fast. Just hope that gives you all some hope!!

Hello everybody!!

I'm with the last details, sending soon the application!

However, now I suddenly have a crisis with the medical exams forms. I'm applying OUTLAND (of course, it's the BA thread ) and I made my exams here in Quebec City. I've been with the Appendix C, but they kept it to send it to Mississauga with the rest of the examination. They are completed and passed. But I only have one paper from the clinic that states that I've done my medical exams for immigration, signed and stamped.

Do I put that on my application?
I don't have any other form. What about that IMM 1017 copy 2 that the checklist talks about? What do we (people applying in BA) need to add regarding medical exams?

HELP PLEASE!! I'm so nervous about that

Hi!

As far as I remember, you only have that stamped paper that the doctor gives you to put in the package.. make sure to make a copy before..!! just in case!

Yes! I have like a preset "letter" from the clinic, but it doesn't say "IMM 1017 Copy 2" at all! haha
It's signed, dated and stamped with a maple leaf red stamp with a number (I guess the DMP number??).

I hope it will be just fine with that :

Is there anyone else still waiting for BBAA?? We got an email that they started processing ours on Nov. 15th....they`re not on vacation this month...are they???!!!

Hello people, my gf applied for the federal part in Buenos Aires on October 2011 with a CSQ for Quebec selected skilled workers...

She didn't receive any AOR but in November the embassy called to let her know that her application is good and when she asked how she can check her process online they replied that there is no number.. they will contact her... is it possible that some applications can't be tracked or are they going to send it much later?? If they do send it later does it mean that the processing is really delayed?
It's frustrating because the processing times used to be 4 months then they went up to 5 6 7 and just recently they went up to 10!! Does anyone know anything about this type of immigration? No resources either ... it seems like there are no Argentinians immigrating to Canada so why would the process be so long... no logic...
