We also sent my husband's passport in. Fedex says it arrived on August 27, but we have yet to hear anything. Hopefully the lack of communication signifies that they are hard at work getting everything done....fingers crossed

We have a lawyer too but I paid the landing fees online myself, and sent the receipt to Bogota. I would suggest that you just confirm with your lawyer about this and make sure he paid the landing fees
