Processing delay

Hi : my company applied for work permit for me and the application was submitted along with my passport on 16th May 2017 at Delhi Embassy. Even after 2 months there is no news of my visa decision. Neither getting any information from Visa office in spite multiple follow up by my company. What I should do next to get some status update. Please advise. Thanks.

Unfortunately there's really not much you can do apart from waiting and submitting a case specific inquiry (which it sounds like you've already done). Work permits can take a number of months to process - so the amount of time you've waited is by no mean unusual and it make take longer still before you have an answer.

Thank you. Do you have any idea on average wp processing time at Delhi Embassy . Am from a mnc company and one of my coworker got visa approval in 3 weeks time.

The current estimated WP processing time from India is 12 weeks.

Your application has not exceeded this posted estimate. This is also the reason why the visa office is not responding to any queries by your employer
