..Or do they say that for every application including rejections?

I know India rejection rate is high for TRV even moreso for those with PR already in process. I am hoping we had enough evidence to show my husband will not overstay and my being in military in Canada (and having medical issues - I am having surgery soon and due to cancellation list I could go at any time. I will be in a cast after and will need help here... ) I provided all my medical documents to prove it long with all his volunteer work, career, dependent Mother in India, etc. And we explained the long term goal is for him to come here on PR so we would not jeapordize that PR application by him overstaying. Anyway the VFS tracking now says

"your processed Passport has been dispatched back to the Visa application Centre and is ready for pickup" does processed mean he got it?? Or do they say that also if it was rejected? I mean a rejection would not need to process anything with his Passport... we will have to wait till his cousin picks it up... my husband is in Srinagar Kashmir and the application was in Delhi. Fingers crossed.... and toes.... and everything else I can cross! And Ardaas to Waheguru Ji!

visa or rejection will be knwn only after you get the passport in your hand. No other details are mentioned before. Now your passport has been dispatched and after one day you will get the courier and then you will come to knw either you got the visa or not. Hope for the best. All the best... waiting for you positive response.

Total processing time was only about 2.5 weeks. That seem really fast. I am worried that the fast processing time is a negative. That they may have ignored the entire application ( and it was huge... we had national level letters proving he had to be back to India - signed in original, from several NGOs, his work, his house assessment to show his ties, all his work with Gurdwara and youth programs etc. Business cards, proof of future events happening he MUST be there for) but I am worried they just ignored all that and saw that he has a PR in process so they just rejected based on that. My nerves are so frayed right now... and it will be a few days before we know.

The main reason for him to come sooner than PR being granted is that I have upcoming surgery and will be cast bound for about 6 weeks after, and I live alone. I will need lots of help to manage day to day during that time. Since the surgery date is not fixed and I am on a cancellation list (Halifax is really bad for surgery wait times), it could happen at a moment's notice. Obviously if I am called when he has to be back India, I can reject the surgery date and wait again, or just go ahead without him here, and he can come soonest after the event. But to not come at all, leaves me having to deal with everything for 6 weeks without help. I did send my protected medical documents as proof... and statement from military saying I am under administrative review because of the injury and the fact that I can no longer meet full physical requirements in the military right now. This could have career implications, which is also causing stress, and I explained that as well in my invitation letter. I am HOPING they didn't just skip reading everything and just stamp reject because of the PR application...

But only 2 weeks processing time seems a bit fast to be positive... like not enough time for them to read everything to make an informed decision.
