They have sent your Passport back to you. It means Embassy has taken the decision on your application and you will now soon receive your passport..
I would not comment on this because whatever I say that would be just presumptions. If you want to know the precise reason then I would strongly suggest you to link your application with GC key. There you will get to know the exact decision that your application has been approved or refused.
Like in my case, I have already linked my application with online application. My passport is yet to be dispatched from Embassy but I know their decision. On my application, it is showing "We regret to inform you that your application was refused"
1) Go to this link

2) Select: continue to Gckey
3)Select: Sign up on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
4)After creating my cic account, click link application to this account.
5)Then select category as Temporary residence and subcategory as Study permit and extension.
6)Then select Family name,given name and date of birth option.
7)Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth.
8)Next in applicant personal info fill passport information only and DONOT FILL CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH.
9) Fill program start and end date as well as DLI number of the institution (found in offer letter)
10) Your application will be found and can be linked.
11) You can get real time updates on your paper application
yes I applied for Sep intake but visa got refused.. so now waiting for my passport.. once it is dispatched I will apply for Refund
u get any port of entry letter?
my brother also got visa
but he didnt get any leter is it important?
