Process to apply GCMS notes Experts please help

Dear All

I am asking one of my cousin who stays in Canada to apply for GCMS notes on
my behalf. I need to know what is the process involve.
Do I need to send any letter of authority or any other document to my cousin.

Also it's been 80 days since I got my AoR. Do you think it's right time to apply for GCMS notes or I am applying too early.

Please help me with the process for the same

In my opinion you still have 2 months left before you should start panicking.. But 80 days is still enough processing time for you to find something interesting in GCMS.

Yes that is what my interpretation is. I have not personally applied for GCMS yet, so you can wait for someone with a personal experience to respond.

I can see there is Section B in consent form asking for spouse details. If I fill that Do i still need to fill two forms or one. please help

thanks for this. But it looks like a manual process. But now I guess we can apply notes online as well.
Need not to send physical form as mentioned in your link. Also we can use card to make the payment not necessary cheque or money orders.

Hey there,

1) I won't suggest to apply for GCMS notes right now as its not past your processing time.
2) No you don't need to fill two application only one should serve the purpose. unless and until she have applied in different application than your than only you need two request forms.
3) if you google ATIP- First link will provide all information needed and your cousin can apply for you. Its easy process just need basic information.

Exactly we can do it online ... i gave you the link so that you can see and get some idea about how and what .... for applying notes there were two options one of them will cost you 5$ and another is free of cost .... they ask to upload any proof that you are either citizen/permanent resident/temp resident etc if you apply yourself ...i think if your brother is going to apply on your behalf you need to give him consent form and if you have confusion that you need one or two consent forms (for you and ur spouse) then give two to be in safer side ...

I just ordered GCMS notes; during filling the app they ask for supporting Docs (optional). I did not attached anything as it was for myself under the Privacy Act.

Did any of you attached anything (ID, Passport..etc)? For those who did not attached anything like myself, did you experience any difficulties or delays?
