Hey there,

I submitted my application at the end of August. Now I am not too sure what am I expecting to receive from CIC?? and what could be my file number?

I am also planning to visit my home country in the end of this year.. Is that gonna create any problem in my file since I am crossing the border?? Do I have to inform CIC about my this travel?

You will get an AOR in your email (if email address was provided). That will contain your file number. Out of country travel has no effect on your PR process.
