Hi, My parents have applied for a Visitor Visa from India using the myCIC application. I have paid the Visa fees (CAD 200) successfully. This was done today 6 April. The plan is for them to visit US and Canada in June. They have the US visa so am hoping this comes through also. Needed some inputs below:
1) Understand that VFS does the visa processing in India for Canada. But since as of now, we have worked through myCIC, what would be the next steps. Will there be a call for additional documentation or an interview by the Consulate or VFS. I understand that Indian citizens do not need to go through Biometrics.
2) What is the average timeline for visa processing, Online they say 14 days (which I assume is business days), so at the fag end should I expect them to come back by 25-26 April or by that time a stamping would happen.

That's really going to dent their plans. Hope it happens faster.
