Procedure to get PCC from Lahore, pakistan

Dear
If you live in Lahore then go to SSP office that is adjacent to Civil courts and opposite New hostel Government college lahore.

Things to take with you

1) 3 Passport size fotographs (attested on back by a gazetted officer)
2) Copy of passport first 2 pages (Attested)
3) Copy of ID card (Attested)
4) A written application addressed to SSP

When you reach there after going through security checks you shall enter a room called Conference Room (its hell, hot and crowdy). The moment you enetr on your right is a desk take a form from them (freee of charge) and fill it.
Then attach it with your application and submitt with the same clerick. He shall make an entry and issue you a slip. Don't loose this slip

Go back to your home and relax. You shall get call from the police station dealing with your area. After you get the call wait for 3 4 days and then go to the same SSP office and conference room and make an inquiry they shall check record and if your docs are there they sahll give you a printout to check for mistakes if any get it done if not return it to them then they shall issue you the certificate but after 2 3 hours.

Better if you go say around 9 in the morning and as soon the staff comes which is lady check with her whether your application has reached back from the police station.

They shall ask you to come back at 12 but dont worry just stick there

I have another query. I live in KSA with no body from my family in pakistan. I m going to karachi soon for a week visit.
Is it possible to obtain a police certificate from Lahore police while sitting in karachi?
I can visit Lahore myself for a day or two maximum. Is it possible in any way to obtain a police certificate the same day of submission or next day?
For clearance in Lahore, attestation of reqd docs is to be done from Lahore or it can be done from some body in karachi also?
Do we need a police clearance request from CHC for issue of certificate from Lahore police or they issue without any request from CHC?

PCC issuance procedure in Lahore takes approx. 5 days. It is not possible to get PCC from lahore, if ur residential adress is of KHI. To get a PCC from Lhr, u must mention an adress of Lahore. They will physically verify ur presence at said adress.

I have my permanent and temporary address of Lahore on CNIC. However, i m living in KSA these days.
If they will physically verify my address, them i m not in Lahore currently. What to do?

I live in chiniot now. I lived in Lahore Cantt for 13 years before. Canadian Embassy wants me to get a PCC from SSP Lahore.
Please let me know what I need for that. Do I need an application written on stamped paper bought from Lahore?
Also, would I have to get the verification from Lahore Cantt police station by myself or SSP office staff would do it by themselves?

Now in Pakistan police departments are very strict in issuing PCCs but If you have any relative in Pakistan then he can get Police Clearance Certificate on your behalf by providing them following documents:

1. Copy of applicant CNIC
2. Copy of applicant Valid Passport (must be valid for six months)
3. Copy of father's CNIC
4. Copy of mother's CNIC
5. 4 nos. passport size photographs
6. And some required information to fill their application form i.e. period of stay, addresses, purpose etc

Some times concerned police department do asks for any reference in the city where you need PCC. Reference can be anyone of your neighbors, friends, relatives or your employer.

PCC can be obtained from SP Office not from local police station (thana).

For those who don't have any source / contact in Pakistan there are many lawyers / service agencies assisting in Pakistan in these kind of documents. They will charge their service fee remember.

has anyone recently obtained PCC from Lahore??

My permanent address on CNIC is Pakpattan but I have been living in Lahore all my life (present address on CNIC). SP office Lahore says that I should apply for PCC from Pakpattan and then Lahore office will endorse it.

So basically I cant get PCC from Lahore, but rather my PCC will be from Pakpattan. I have never lived in Pakpattan so it will be wierd for CIC to see it.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue?
