Hello everyone,
I received my ITA and have 72 days left to submit my application. I wanted some information regarding the procedure before I do that.
1. After I submit my application, how much time do I have to submit the documents in the checklist? Is that period included in the 90 days (72 remaining for me) allotted for submission or is it a separate period?
2. For proof of funds, I am going to get the money from my father to put in a fixed deposit. Does the FD have to be just under my name or can it be a joint FD (me as primary and my mother/father as secondary name)? I am going to be submitting a gift affidavit along with it as proof.
3. If I submit the FD as proof of funds, do I still need to submit my bank statements? Because I do not have that much balance in my account as required for the application.
4. I assume my father will have to show source of funds if required, but do I need to submit those documents right now or only if they ask for it later?
Thank you in advance. Hoping to get some guidance from all the good folks here!
Cheers.
